According to officials, the free Wi-Fi service aims to bridge the digital divide, giving students, entrepreneurs, and tourists easy access to the internet without incurring additional costs. The rollout is part of Nepal’s broader “Digital Nepal 2030” vision, which seeks to expand internet accessibility nationwide and promote technology-driven education, commerce, and public services.
